Cologne | Cathedral and City

Cologne, a famous city in Europe, is located in Germany. What made this trip special to me was my desire to study at a university in Germany. The main reason I went to this city was because I was very curious about Cologne Cathedral, a building that caught my attention online.
What intrigued me most about the cathedral was that its construction began in 1248 and was completed in 1880 after a 632-year construction process. Although there were periods when construction was halted during this process, the cathedral was a truly historic Gothic structure, and I was captivated by both its architecture and its location next to the Rhine River.

When I went to Cologne, besides visiting the cathedral, I had the opportunity to walk along the Rhine River and explore the city streets. I liked that it was a clean and orderly city, and its architecture was also quite pleasant.

While exploring the city, my research on its history gave me the opportunity to learn about what I saw firsthand, and this trip with my family was enjoyable.
I really liked this city I visited. I think one day was enough to explore the city, and the large number of bicycles in the city also shows that bicycles are sufficient for inner-city transportation. I would love to hear your thoughts about this city too. See you soon!
