ABOUT ME:
Hello, I’m Eren. The reason I launched this website—erenonthego—is to share the activities I’ve been doing throughout my IB journey with you. Over the past year since I created this site, the activities I’ve shared with you here have played a significant role in the way my thoughts and perspective on life have evolved. Looking back at the beginning of the IB program, I’m really happy with the intellectual progress I’ve made, and it’s also sparked my curiosity about new horizons. For example, my love of playing the violin and my desire to bring that into my computer led me to start learning Python so I could learn how to interact with computers. In addition, as I made decisions about my future during this process, I began learning German with the goal of getting accepted into the Technical University of Munich, which I had set as my target. This led me to dream of adding a few more languages to my repertoire, sparking my desire to become a polyglot. I learned that such progress actually stems from the convergence of multiple fields, and of course, CAS played a significant role in helping me reach this realization. I know my CAS process is coming to an end, but this journey has ignited my passion for learning. I hope that even after the IB, I can continue to gain such insights and that my desire to grow will never fade.
